Chad Wright-Pittman

Rev. Chad Wright-Pittman serves as the Pastor of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, where he is passionate about teaching, nurturing meaningful relationships, and building a resilient, Christ-centered community. He believes deeply in helping others live out their callings through connection with God, the Scriptures, and one another.

Before coming to Lake Forest, Chad served as Associate Pastor for Care and Outreach at First Presbyterian Church in Anderson, SC. He holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary (’16) and a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Middle Tennessee State University (’10).

A native of Knoxville, Chad is grateful to serve in the city he calls home. He and his wife Lauren love exploring local parks with their toddler Hopper, finding good coffee, and following Atlanta United soccer.

John Maples

Music Director

John Maples brings deep experience and joyful energy to his role as Music Director at Lake Forest Presbyterian Church. After serving for over 30 years as the choir director at South Doyle High School, he continues to share his love of music by leading and inspiring the LFPC community in worship.

John holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s in Church Music from Southwestern Seminary. He finds joy in making music with others and helping people connect with their faith through song, leading both the Chancel Choir and the Handbell Choir.

Now retired from teaching, John spends more time on his family’s farm in South Knoxville, where he enjoys caring for the animals and the beauty of the land he calls home.
