The worship service at Lake Forest provides a comfortable blend of traditional and contemporary elements. A typical service will include both liturgical readings and a contemporary Call to Worship song. As a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), our service typically follows the Revised Common Lectionary, which helps to unite us with other congregations around the world each week as we study and reflect on the same Scripture. In following the liturgical calendar, we celebrate the Christian seasons, honoring Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, and Common Time. We hold special Worship services for Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve. We invite you come as you are and join us in worship!
